Doug and Roong's American Wedding Reception
Doug and Roong finished the second, and presumably last, leg of their wedding reception world tour on Saturday, July 10th. And what a finale it was! We all enjoyed the dining, drinking, and dancing that lasted until almost 1:00 AM at Stonewater Golf Club. Thanks Mom!
I have added two new photo albums to the site - "Doug and Roong's Reception" and "Party After Reception". The party after the reception was held at the Rossman Beachfront Resort and lasted until the wee hours of the morning. Actually, so did the pre-reception party on Friday night! Canoeing at 3:00 AM on Lake Erie is probably not a good idea, but it was fun! I will be adding more pictures in the next couple of days. The pictures that are posted come from a variety of sources - thanks to all who have emailed me their pictures (Uncle Ray, Aunt Chrissy, Monica, etc).
It was great to see all those who came from out of town. It was another memorable event like the first leg of the world reception tour in Thailand! Sunday was probably a rough day for most...

The wedding party was groovy, baby! A smashing success indeed. I came all the way from Thailand for it. Hats off to the mother of the groom for organizing the whole shindig. What careful attention to detail she displayed in making that night so special for everyone, especially the lovely bride Roong, also known as Ruby for those who are dipthong impaired. Her handsome groom is truly a lucky man. They were both last seen cruising down the shoulder of I-90 on a suped-up yellow mini hog (Roong in the side cart) toward their unknown honeymoon destination. It will be very difficult for the paparazzi to catch up with them on that hog.
